Axe throwing is a sport that is open to people of all ages, no prior experience is needed! (We’ve had an 80 year old grandma come in for a session before!)
Whether you plan to come by yourself to sharpen your aim, with a date to impress, or with a group of friends for a unique day out, there is something for everyone.
A brief sequence of events to expect:
1. Checking in with our staff to confirm your booking and signing of waiver forms
2. Safety and throwing technique briefing by our Axe-perts
3. Practice throws (with some food and drinks if you’d like!)
4. Tournament and games!
Do approach our coaches to share with you the games you can play with axe throwing, and how official tournament works! Our coaches would be more than happy to guide and help you or your group with scoring, determining who is the winner and who gets to leave with bragging rights!
Pro tip:
– Do make a booking online before heading down to avoid disappointment.
– Get our coaches to share with you more on axe throwing, different ways to throw an axe, and the different types of axes we have!
– Axe throwing is all about technique, not strength.

As with all sports, some people are naturally gifted at it, while most are average. However, with axe throwing, one thing’s for sure; everyone starts off learning something new!
Here’s some advice for first-time throwers:
– It’s all about the technique. The bigger biceps don’t win here!
– Distance. Everyone throwing distance is different. Once you find yours, stick to it and throw consistently!
– Listen closely to our Axe-pert’s guidance. They will correct your throwing form as the session progresses.
– Don’t be afraid to ask our Axe-pert questions!
